GUELPH, ON, APR 17, 2023 The Canadian Food Innovation Network (CFIN) has appointed Alexandra (Alex) Barlow as its new Vice President, Programs. Barlow previously served as the organization’s Programs Director, a position she held since her arrival at CFIN in 2021.

Barlow is an economic development advocate and business advisor with over a decade of experience in writing, researching, and administering government incentives at both the provincial and federal levels. She’s an avid and passionate supporter of Canadian innovation and has helped hundreds of Canadian food businesses access well over $300M in government incentives and funding throughout her career.

Delivering high-value programming for its members is at the heart of what CFIN does. With Barlow now stepping into the VP role, CFIN plans to expand and diversify its programming to further support food innovation across the country.
