Mooseworks Live Exchange: Farms, Food and Canada’s Sovereignty

When:  Nov 18, 2025 from 17:30 to 20:00 (ET)

Join the Council of Canadian Innovators, in partnership with the Arrell Food Institute and Farm Credit Canada, on Tuesday, November 18, for Mooseworks Live Exchange: Farms, Food and Canada’s Sovereignty — an in-person policy exchange in Ottawa exploring how innovation in agriculture and food can strengthen Canada’s sovereignty and prosperity.

Canada has everything it takes to be the world’s leading food superpower — but where are we falling short, and how can we make up lost ground? This session will bring together innovators, farmers, and policy leaders to discuss how governments and industry can work together to build a value-add export advantage across the entire farm-to-food value chain.

To guide this important conversation, Laurent Carbonneau, Director of Policy and Research at the Council of Canadian Innovators, will moderate a discussion featuring leaders from across Canada’s agri-food innovation ecosystem.
