Mastering the Art of Baking: Algonquin Colleges Comprehensive Baking and Pastry Arts Management Program 

The Baking and Pastry Arts Management Ontario College Diploma program from  Algonquin College offers hands-on experience under professional chefs in state-of-the-art labs. Learn advanced patisserie training and management skills for career advancement or entrepreneurship. Unleash creativity in chocolate work, sugar artistry, cake design, artisan breads, and more. Acquire knowledge in business planning and operations for a successful career in the industry. 

Program Highlights: 

Courses include Communications, Sanitation and Safety Training, Introduction to Culinary, Baking Theory and Practical, Cake Decorating, Nutrition and Food Preparation, Sugar and Chocolate Techniques, Specialized Baking, and more. Real-world experience is emphasized with 120 hours of field placement and participation in community events and competitions. 

Additional Programs: Culinary Arts and Food Science, Bartending, Culinary Arts, Culinary Skills, Sommelier, Food and Nutrition Management 

What You’ll Leave With: 

Graduates will be equipped with skills to work as bakers, pastry chefs, chocolatiers, confectioners, bakery managers, or pursue entrepreneurship.   • English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or equivalent)
