Who can participate?
Canadian business-led collaborations (with at least one SME) keen to ignite transformative innovation.
All project partners must be incorporated in Canada, or working within Canadian research institutions, and be CFIN members.
All applicants must be CFIN members and submit their application online at:

Project size
Our competitive, merit-based process will review projects ranging from $1M to $4M.
Project teams are required to contribute 50% of total eligible project costs and to provide a project management fee of 5% of total eligible project costs.

The 2022-2023 calls will have the following themes:

Digitization and digitalization solutions that create safer, more secure, and more agile food supply chains. (Spring/Summer 2022)
