CFIN has provided funding for many projects over the past two years. Now we’re catching up with the Canadian companies leading CFIN-funded projects to chat about how their innovations have advanced in the year since funding.

In this video CFIN's Regional Innovation Director for Ontario, Linda Fox, sits down with John Cappuccitti, co-founder and COO of Evolved Meats, as well as Laura Riley, director of Sector Innovations and Programs, and Elaine Corbett, director of Strategic Partnership at Ontario Genomics, to discuss how Evolved Meats is using the funding.

Evolved Meats was one of four recipients who received a combined $900,000 through CFIN and Ontario Genomics' AcCELLerate-ON competition. The company won funding for a project to create cultivated pork belly that is identical to conventional pork belly .
