CFIN has provided funding for many projects over the past two years. Now we’re catching up with the Canadian companies leading CFIN-funded projects to chat about how their innovations have advanced in the year since funding. 

In this video Julie Daigle, Regional Innovation Director for Quebec, speaks with Guillaume Brault, Scientist Leader at St-Hubert, QC-based Foodarom, a St. Hubert, QC based company that manufactures custom flavours for the food and beverage industry. They discuss Foodarom's progress in their project supported by CFIN’s Innovation Booster program to develop and validate a solution composed of one or more natural ingredients with antimicrobial properties to eliminate multi-resistant fungal contaminants that are often found in concentrated fruit syrups and purées.
