Did you Know?
Food and beverage companies are high users of energy, primarily from fossil fuels, and worldwide the industry produces approximately 37 per cent of all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Alteco has developed a predictive tool to help food businesses manage energy consumption, cut costs and reduce their carbon footprint. The recently launched SaaS (software as a service) tool registers which equipment is being used when electricity enters a manufacturing facility, and reveals the specific energy consumption of that equipment. Alteco says the software can help reduce energy costs by at least 15 per cent.
