Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Agriculture and Food Production program offers an in-depth dive into modern agricultural practices, focusing on sustainable food production and resource management. The program, commencing every September, spans 80 weeks, including three co-op terms. What sets this program apart is its immersive and hands-on approach to learning, providing students with practical skills in agricultural technology, machinery operation, farm management, sustainable production, and land management.
One of the unique features of the program is its integration of co-operative education. During their studies, students participate in three paid work terms, gaining invaluable real-world experience in various facets of agriculture and food production.
